Facial Aesthetics

There are times when we can feel a bit drab, more than a facemask and some at home self-care rituals can remedy drab, we want to look fresher, or even to highlight one of our best features. Many of us may even want to roll back a few years.

If that is something you have thought about, you have likely come across anti-wrinkle, fillers and skin rejuvenation treatments. There are many to choose from, and they all have different purposes. Sometimes you may just want to talk about your options. In that case, come chat to us. We offer a range of services, but more importantly we offer peace of mind when it comes to treatments, experience and who is carrying out the procedures.

The main areas’ people target are wrinkles around the eyes, frown and forehead. Jowls and “soft chin or jawline”, generalised wrinkling over the face and neck. Many people also want to improve the definition of their lips. All are possible, and great care and planning should be taken before you decide how to tackle these options.

What is the difference between filler and Botox?

This is the most commonly asked question! Botox is usually used to stop muscle movement, which leads to removal of wrinkles. Fillers are used to “fill defects or gaps”. They can be used in the lips, jaw line, nose and cheeks

Is it painful?

Botox injections are usually not painful, just a tiny nip, however we also have EMLA cream which will numb the skin. This is also used for age rejuvenation treatment such as neofound and portfolio.

When treating lips on other sensitive areas, we may offer to numb the area with anaesthetic. So that you won’t feel a thing!. This allows us the chance to spend time working to shape and transform the area while you are in complete comfort. This is one of the many perks of having facial aesthetics done by a dental professional!
